Sean Strickland is no stranger to controversy and is widely known for his unfiltered takes on sensitive issues.
One of the most polarizing fighters on the UFC roster, 'Tarzan' was also banned from specific social media platforms for his outrageous statements. However, it seems the fans only see a glimpse of Strickland's antics.
UFC middleweight contender Chris Curtis recently discussed his Xtreme Couture teammate Sean Strickland's unpredictable behavior and his antics outside the octagon.
In an exclusive interview with Andrew Whitelaw of Sportskeeda MMA, Chris Curtis opened up about how it is to spend time with Sean Strickland regularly and revealed that 'Tarzan's buffoonery goes far beyond what's shown on social media:
"We've had so many talks about this. He just doesn't understand social norms... He understands, but he just doesn't care. He's just what happens when you don't hug your kids enough... It's a daily thing and the stuff you guys see is the very tip of the iceberg."

Sean Strickland last fought Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Vegas 67 in January and secured a decision victory against the Frenchman. Meanwhile, No.14-ranked middleweight Chris Curtis is set to face Kevin Gastelum at UFC 287 this weekend.

While Sean Strickland is still ranked as a middleweight contender in the UFC, occupying the No.7 spot, it's looking more and more likely that he will soon make a move to the light heavyweight division.

Interestingly, the 31-year-old American has fought at both welterweight and middleweight and could soon make a third move.
In the same exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Chris Curtis weighed in on Strickland's possible move up to the light heavyweight division and claimed that 'Tarzan' is a far superior fighter at 205 pounds than he was at 185 pounds.
He stated:
"Sean walks around at 225 or 230 [pounds] sometimes. He's a big dude. Honestly, I think he'd be better at 205 than 185...When you see him in the gym training at a weight thats comfortable for him, it's a nightmare. I've seen him, ragdoll heavyweights. I've seen him go toe-to-toe with heavyweights... beat up 205ers."
'Tarzan' notably struggled to make weight for his fight against Jared Cannonier at UFC Vegas 66 and recently called out light heavyweights Dominick Reyes and Anthony Smith after the UFC allegedly told him there aren't any available fighters for him in the middleweight division.
