Sean Strickland sheds light on what led to Chris Curtis allegedly blocking him on X: "Weakness is cancer man"
Sean Strickland recently went off on Chris Curtis for allegedly blocking him on social media and posted a series of tweets shedding light on the situation. It appears the two Xtreme Couture teammates had fallen out over some disagreements in the gym.
For context, Strickland uploaded a series of posts on X hinting that the two close friends weren't on good terms anymore. The former UFC middleweight champion also revealed that Curtis had blocked him on X and posted a screenshot of him being unable to access his teammate's home page. He wrote:
"Dawwwwg on Twitter?!? Really?!!?! Lmao
In a follow-up tweet, Strickland asked his followers what apology gift he could buy for "liberal" Curtis. The ever-outspoken UFC star then proceeded to taunt the "liberals" by stating:
"What do you get a liberal to say you're sorry? A fruit basket? A basket of di*dos?Normally, I'd just buy a homie a gun and call it quits, but generally, when you give a liberal a gun, they go shoot up schools."
After a fan questioned what went wrong in their relationship, Strickland pointed at some gym disputes and claimed "weakness is cancer" that could spread through the training base. Justifying why he was so "militant" in the gym, 'Tarzan' pointed out that Curtis wanted to "drill during sparring," and that's what led to their falling out.
In an X post, Strickland wrote:
"Weakness is cancer, man. Literally, it spreads through the gym like a virus... It affects everyone... I can be pretty hard. Probably too militant. But Curt wanted to drill during sparring, and I said no, do it on your own time, and he lost it. Very gay. Curt we miss you, lol."
Coach Eric Nicksick reacts to Sean Strickland and Chris Curtis seemingly falling out
Xtreme Couture head coach Eric Nicksick weighed in on the drama between his star pupils and shared a hilarious response to their disputes. Nicksick has been mentoring Sean Strickland and Chris Curtis for a long time and is often credited for his contribution to their success in the octagon.
Nicksick recently reacted to one of Strickland's tweets claiming that he wasn't friends with Curtis anymore. In an X post, 'Tarzan' urged his longtime teammate to return with the promise of being "nicer" and wrote:
"Me and Curt aren't friends anymore @Actionman513 come back Curt... I'll be nicer... lol."
In response, coach Nicksick hilariously joked about straightening them out as soon as he returned and wrote:
"I can’t leave town for one minute?! Just wait till Dad gets home to straighten you two out."
