Sean Strickland willing to pay $200K to Dale Brown from D.U.S.T. for fighting him "in the desert"
Sean Strickland is known to be one of the most outspoken fighters on the UFC roster, and the No.7-ranked middlweight recently challenged popular internet self-defense instructor Dale Brown to a desert throwdown.
Strickland recently ran into Brown while attending an event at The Gun Store in Las Vegas and the two men toppled a shelf full of guns while playfighting. However, it seems their tomfoolery wasn't completely benign and the two men did indeed harbor animosity towards each other.
A video recently posted by MMA journalist Alex Behunin on Twitter shows Sean Strickland responding to some footage of an interview with the founder of Detroit Urban Survival Training (D.U.S.T.).
'Tarzan' brutally insulted Brown's self-defense credentials and even offered an all-expenses paid trip to the desert for a melee. Addressing Brown directly, Strickland stated:
"You said you would meet me in the desert... I will make you a deal... I will buy your plane ticket, I will put you up at whatever hotel you want, I will take $200K in cash and I will put it in the sand. You have that money, all you gotta do is beat me... The thing is, you're a fraud, a phony, a con-artist. You know you are and I know you are.

Sean Strickland was invited to an event at The Gun Store in Las Vegas when he came across meme sensation Dale Brown, whose almost parodical self-defense techniques propelled him to infamy on the internet.
'Tarzan' seemingly engaged in some playful sparring with Brown inside the store. As the two men get into it, Strickland can be seen taking it a little too seriously as he pushes Brown while faking a knee. This causes the self-defense expert to fall back into a shelf full of guns and topple it over.
Soon after, Sean Strickland posted a video of the incident on his Instagram profile, with a funny caption asking whether he should start a self-defense program himself:
"Well I will say that felt mildy uncomfortable but I think I should start a self defense program???? What should I call it??? Last time I get invited to any events lol Thanks for having me @thegunstore."
