"See you soon brother" - Thai megastar Rodtang Jitmuangnon hints at a collaboration with Hollywood superstar Chris Hemsworth
Current ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon has recently received a support message from Hollywood superstar Chris Hemsworth.
Rodtang has shared the video greeting he received from Hemsworth on his Instagram account, and he wrote its caption with:
"Thank you for the best wishes and see you soon, brother. 🙏🏻🇹🇭🇹🇭"
In the video, the 41-year-old Aussie actor has sent his good luck to the Thai sensation and revealed that he is rooting for him in his upcoming world championship rematch with Jacob Smith.
Rodtang and Smith will co-headline the upcoming ONE 169 card on Nov. 8 inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, for flyweight Muay Thai supremacy.
'The Iron Man's' caption on the post has also teased a possible collaboration with the actor famous for playing 'Thor' in Marvel movies.
Rodtang won't go in a firefight with John Lineker if they ever share the ring together
Although he's fully focused on his fight next month, the Jitmuangnon Gym representative has been receiving callouts from different fighters in the promotion.
One of the most recent stars who mentioned his name during his post-fight is former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker. 'Hands of Stone' has called out Rodtang following his knockout win over Alexey Balyko earlier this month.
Rodtang is not shying away from that match-up with the Brazilian knockout artist, but he knows that he won't be able to walk him down with his power alone because of how tough he is. This is the reason why he intends to use his wealth of experience to neutralize Lineker and eventually beat him.
Rodtang stated this during his recent interview with ONE Championship, where he said:
"I don't know if I can knock him out because he's strong. But if I have to share the ring with him, I'd rather use my fight experience than brute force."
