"Seems unstoppable now" - Fans expect Jonathan Haggerty's ultimate form in Denver super fight against Superlek
Current undisputed two-sport bantamweight world champion Jonathan Haggerty has fought the best of the best fighters in ONE Championship since he joined the organization in 2019.
His incredible journey under the world's largest martial arts organization was looked back on by the promotion in a recent YouTube video they posted. They wrote the video's description with:
"Before two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty defends the bantamweight Muay Thai crown against ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Superlek in the main event of ONE 168: Denver on September 6, learn all about his meteoric rise!"
In the 12-minute video, ONE Championship featured the run of 'The General,' from his first world title triumph in 2019, back-to-back losses to Rodtang Jitmuangnon, up until his crowning glory as the ONE Muay Thai and kickboxing titleholder.
Because of this outstanding run, which saw him capture three 26-pound golden belts in five years, fans are expecting big things from him as he now defends his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai gold against the challenge of Superlek Kiatmoo9 on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver at the Ball Arena.
