Seksan on Liam Harrison's "crazy" comeback victory over Muangthai: "I thought he wouldn't get up"

ONE Championship star Seksan Or Kwanmuang concedes that he had a victory for Muangthai PK Saenchai in the books after his fellow Thai compatriot crumbled Liam Harrison down twice during their epic duel in April 2022.

However, time stood still in the fight – which has since been described as the best round in Muay Thai history – for the British legend to secure a victory from the jaws of defeat. One that still leaves Seksan beyond puzzled.

Before he shares the ring against Harrison in a 140-pound catchweight Muay Thai matchup at ONE 168: Denver, Seksan revisited 'Hitman's' most iconic finish during a recent catchup session with the South China Morning Post.

The Or Kwanmuang affiliate shared:

"I thought he wouldn't get up anymore. It was two knockdowns already. It was crazy, and that's why I respect him so much."

It was one of the most miraculous come-from-behind victories ever seen in "The Art Of Eight Limbs" and perhaps across martial arts.

'Elbow Zombie' toppled the Bad Company star with a high kick early. Barely seconds after the restart, the 30-year-old striker landed a stinging jab-cross that put Harrison down for his second eight-count.

Despite facing a huge mountain to climb, the Leeds native had his eyes locked on the prize. And his effort was paid off in some fashion. A right hand-left hook combo from the hard-hitting Englishman dropped Muangthai. Soon, an uppercut-hook mix sent the Thai back to where he came from.

With everything even, it was anyone's fight to take. However, 'Hitman' beat his dance partner to the punch to secure one of his best knockouts, a second promotional win, and a US$100,000 performance bonus.

Seksan says his and Liam Harrison's style will produce magic at ONE 168: Denver

While full of praise for Harrison's sumptuous knockout of Muangthai, Seksan has produced similar displays throughout his career and ONE Championship campaign.

And due to that similarity, 'The Man Who Yields To No One' expects their clash at ONE 168: Denver inside Ball Arena to be nothing short of exciting on Sept. 6.

In the same interview, he stated:

"I think it would be very fun because we both share the same exciting style, always moving forward, explosive action, and I think it's going to be like an absolutely explosive fight."
