Seksan Or Kwanmuang on his perfect run at ONE Friday Fights: “I never thought of achieving it”

Seksan Or Kwanmuang achieved the unthinkable in his early days with the organization, where he achieved a special ONE Friday Fights run of a perfect 8-0 record before stepping into the main roster on the biggest global stage.

Although he stumbled with a unanimous decision loss in the hands of Yutaro Asahi, where he apologized for his lackluster performance, Seksan knows that he is ready to make a comeback and defeat his next opponent at ONE 168: Denver.

As he prepares to go all out against fellow Muay Thai legend Liam Harrison on September 6, 'The Man Who Yields to No One' reminisced on the high-flying performances that brought him up to this point.

He told South China Morning Post in their latest interview:

"I’m always at 100 percent. Honestly, I never thought of achieving it. I just did my best and it happened."

Clearly, with such feat and proven track record, Seksan vs. Harrison is looking set to be another barnburner on the stacked U.S. card inside the Ball Arena, Denver, Colorado.

Liam Harrison still plans to fight after facing Seksan in Denver

Muay Thai legend Liam Harrison seems to be nowhere from entering his retirement.

Ahead of his return to the highest level of competition against fellow veteran Seksan Or Kwanmuang at ONE 168: Denver, 'Hitman' has decided to put his fate in his own hands.

In an interview with The FullerWatt Podcast, he shut down any rumors that this super fight on September 6 will be his last.

However, the Englishman will still listen to his body to understand whether he still has enough energy for a final run with multiple fights:

"I'm not setting any timeline [on retirement], but it's step by step, fight by fight, and maybe my body will tell me when it's time to hang it up, you know what I mean?"

Don't miss Liam Harrison's return at ONE 168. Tickets are still available via Ticketmaster.
