Seksan takes important lessons from Harrison-Muangthai clash: “I have to hit harder than Muangthai”
Seksan Or Kwanmuang is looking to use upcoming opponent Liam Harrison's previous fights for guidance ahead of their scheduled showdown next month in the United States. In particular, he has paid special attention to the Englishman's epic showdown against his fellow Thai fighter Muangthai PK Saenchai two years ago.
Harrison and Muangthai battled at ONE 156 in April 2022 in an all-action encounter, which saw the former come back from being knocked down twice in the early goings to score three knockdowns of his own to win by TKO in the opening round.
In an interview with the South China Morning Post, Seksan shared how he intends to avoid making the same mistake that Muangthai made against Harrison, especially how 'Elbow Zombie' allowed 'Hitman' to come back despite already on the ropes.
'The Man Who Yields To No One' said:
"I have to hit harder than Muangthai. I was watching that fight live. I was in front of my television, I saw him get back up, it was absolutely amazing.
"I think Muangthai has pretty powerful hands, the punches, the elbows. But Liam Harrison still got back up."

Seksan will battle Harrison at ONE 168 in Denver, Colorado, on Sept. 6. He is out to clip the comeback bid of the Leeds, England native, who is making his first fight back after two years because of knee injury.
ONE 168 will take place at the Ball Arena, home of the NBA's Denver Nuggets, and airs live and for free in U.S. primetime to North American fans with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.
Tickets for the event are available for purchase on Ticketmaster.
Seksan excited to face Liam Harrison in an all-veteran clash at ONE 168
Veteran fighter Seksan Or Kwanmuang is excited to share the ring with fellow seasoned warrior Liam Harrison at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6, especially since he has followed the career of 'Hitman' and admires his body of work.
He shared this in the same interview, highlighting how he looks forward to pitting his skills against an accomplished opponent, and on a big stage like ONE Championship's U.S. show, no less.
The 35-year-old Thai fighter said:
"I'm super excited to face a legend like Liam Harrison because he's been in this for a long time, he's been fighting for a long time, and I've been following him for a long time."
He added:
"I'm excited and thrilled to share the ring with him and to be part of ONE 168: Denver."
At ONE 168, Seksan is going for a bounce-back win after his impressive eight-fight winning run to start his ONE Championship journey came to an end last April.
