Ortiz Jr., on the other hand, was undefeated with a 21-0 record prior to his bout on Aug. 10. The 26-year-old had scored all of his victories via knockout.

Considering the finish rate of these two fighters, a knockout was a good possibility come fight night.

The main event between Serhii Bohachuk and Vergil Ortiz Jr. turned out to be a thrilling back-and-forth affair that had several exciting moments in it.

The razor-close fight went the 12-round distance and ended in a majority decision victory for Ortiz Jr. The three judges scored the contest 113-113, 114-112 and 114-112 in favor of the Texas native.

Charles Conwell went toe-to-toe against Khiary Gray in the co-main event of the Serhii Bohachuk vs. Vergil Ortiz Jr. card. The 26-year-old put on an impressive performance and scored a knockout victory via a body shot in the second round of the fight.

Kenneth Sims Jr. and Jonathan Romero locked horns on the main card of the event. 'Bossman' overwhelmed his opponent via strikes and the referee stopped the fight after the fifth round.

Gabriela Fendora outclassed her opponent Daniela Asenjo for 10 rounds and took home a comfortable decision victory. All three judges scored the bout 100-90 in favor of Fendora.

The main card opened with a clash between Joel Iriarte and Miguel Ortiz. Iriarte made quick work of his opponent and knocked him out in the opening round of the fight. With the victory, he extended his professional record to 4-0.
