Shakur Stevenson goes on bizarre X rant after win, rips into Ryan Garcia about drug violation
It looks like Shakur Stevenson's thirst for battle hasn't been quelled by his dominant win over Artem Harutyunyan. The young pugilist has since gone on an all-out war on X, raging at his many critics including Ryan Garcia.
While Stevenson is touted as one of the best talents at 135 pounds, his lack of activity in recent fights has seemingly sabotaged his standing with fans.
While the criticism for the abysmal level of activity during his Nov. 2023 clash with Edwin De Los Santos was countered by the 27-year-old with claims of injury, his recent fight with 'The Original' transpired similarly.
To be fair, Stevenson did attack more but was unable to finish his older opponent, inviting boos from those in attendance.
Following the win the southpaw took to X, accusing fans of wanting to see him lose. He also called out stats allegedly underquoting the selling figures for the fight.
The lightweight champion also went off on Garcia, for 'KingRy's' accusation of former world champion Tim Bradley of being blindly supportive of him. Stevenson blasted the 25-year-old, calling him out for his PED use and subsequent ban from boxing.
The young pugilist then took aim at undisputed women's super featherweight champion Alycia Baumgardner for accusing him of a lack of urgency during fights. As Stevenson sees it any criticism about his fighting style lacks credibility until he is defeated.
The boxers's X rant fest doesn't stop here but includes at least a dozen more rage-filled posts, with potentially many more to come.

Shakur Stevenson discredits Ryan Garcia's Mexican heritage
During his post-win rant on X, Shakur Stevenson made a bold claim about Ryan Garcia, discrediting the latter's Mexican heritage.
After Stevenson referred to Garcia as a white male during his online onslaught, a fight fan reminded the WBC champion that 'KingRy' was of Mexican heritage. However, Stevenson is convinced that Mexicans want nothing to do with the down-on-luck boxer.
He wrote:
"That n***a white, Mexicans don't claim em."
Interestingly, while they are yet to meet as professionals, the pair shared the ring in 2013 during their amateur careers. On that occasion, it was Stevenson who came away with a win.
