Smilla Sundell on the fence for ONE 167 headliner between Jo Nattawut and Tawanchai: "The first fight was very close"
It isn't just the ONE Championship fans who are split down the middle on the main event clash between Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Jo Nattawut.
At ONE 167, they are set to headline the Impact Arena in Bangkok in a highly anticipated rematch.
The last time they met at ONE Fight Night 15, the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion was looking to secure another win in the featherweight kickboxing division after the fight was put together on short notice.
The contest ended up being an extremely closely contested affair with many believing that Nattawut should have got the nod from the judges.
This controversy makes the rematch even more exciting but it also makes it difficult to predict a winner based on how close the first fight was.
Former ONE strawweight Muay Thai queen Smilla Sundell echoed this when giving her prediction of the fight during a recent interview on the ONE on SK podcast:
"The first fight was very close, the last one. But Tawanchai, maybe, he can get the win. I don't know how close it really was, but I think some people said Jo won. So, I don't know."

Tawanchai takes home-field advantage in the main event
The clear difference between their first meeting last October to now is the change in rulesets that would appear to benefit Tawanchai.
For Nattawut, this adjustment also means that more stakes are hanging over this fight due to it being five rounds with the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion.
After his close fight with 'Smokin' Jo, anyone who had doubts about what the champion was capable of was quickly proven wrong.
He returned in style to defend his title against Superbon at ONE Friday Fights 46 and will now look to secure back-to-back defenses by beating Nattawut more decisively this time around.
ONE 167 will air live from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 7. Active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America can catch the entire card live in U.S. primetime for free.
