"So much for the sobriety" - Fans react as Conor McGregor takes six-word jab at Dustin Poirier's "tampax pants" ahead of UFC 302
Dustin Poirier's fight kit for UFC 302 has garnered widespread attention. Among those who reacted to the new design was Conor McGregor, who took a dig at Poirier's shorts.
The former UFC interim lightweight champion will wear custom shorts for his highly anticipated matchup against reigning UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in the main event of UFC 302 this weekend. Notably, he is known for his love of floral-themed clothing.
Venum, the official UFC outfitting partner, announced that Poirier's custom shorts are available on its UK website. Subsequently, McGregor, who has a bitter rivalry with his American counterpart, took to X and mocked the unique design by writing:
''Tampax pants''
''Perfect for a bloodied up pu**y''

'The Notorious' is now set to make his long-awaited return against Michael Chandler at UFC 303. The five-round, 170-pound contest will take place on June 29 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Conor McGregor shares UFC 302 main event prediction
Conor McGregor has chimed in on this weekend's pay-per-view headliner. After an MMA-related X handle shared a photo of Islam Makhachev and Dustin Poirier posing with their fight gear, speculation arose that Makhachev's left leg seemingly had some form of infection in one spot, with it potentially being a staph infection.
McGregor quickly reposted the image and criticized the reigning champion, labeling Makhachev an "inbred." Nevertheless, the Irishman predicted Poirier would be submitted in the first round
''Staph again. This inbred, however, lives with Staph. This team is infested, make no mistake. Scruff b*lls. Whatever ya’s are into, I suppose. He still subs Dustin in the 1st."
