“Someone's gonna get knocked out” - Aung La N Sang weighs in on Anatoly Malykhin vs. Oumar Kane
Former two-division kingpin Aung La N Sang wants to see mayhem on the next ONE heavyweight MMA world championship between the triple champ Anatoly Malykhin and Senegalese contender Oumar Kane.
In the barnburner main event of ONE 169: Atlanta on November 8, Malykhin is set to defend his heavyweight title against 'Reug Reug', who just won a kickboxing match earlier this month at the ONE Fight Night 23 card.
Believing he's destined to dethrone 'Sladkiy', Kane will be going all out. But the Russian giant has a plan on his own to overcome his rival's skills.
Ahead of the organization's return to the U.S. soil, Aung La N Sang sat down with The AllStar to share his thoughts on Malykhin vs. Kane headliner:
"I think someone's gonna get knocked out. They both have a lot of power and they both have pretty good wrestling too."
He continued:
"'Reug Reug', I believe is going to be a little bit bigger right? Size-wise. But size doesn’t mean everything as well, you know. Anatoly is always game. So I don't know, man. It's going to be a pretty even matchup as far as like the skill set, the raw skill set goes right?"
Tickets for ONE 169: Atlanta are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
Oumar Kane sends a warning to triple-champ Anatoly Malykhin
Senegalese wrestling star Oumar Kane has a chilling message for his next opponent, the three-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin.
Earlier this month, 'Reug Reug' snatched a quick victory over Boucher Ketchup in their kickboxing tilt at ONE Fight Night 23. Immediately after, he looks forward to his next opponent, Malykhin, ahead of their match on November 8.
He delivered this warning after his quick victory, when he spoke to the South China Morning Post in their post-fight interview:
"Malykhin, I'm gonna k*ll you. That's it."
