Stamp Fairtex was supposed to fight Denice Zamboanga at ONE 167 before injury
Prior to suffering the leg injury, Stamp was scheduled to face Denice Zamboanga for the first world title defense of her ONE atomweight MMA world title in the headliner of the ONE 167 card last June 7.
This was supposed to be a battle of former teammates for the coveted 26-pound golden belt and determine the best 115-pound fighter in the world. Ultimately, she was replaced by Noelle Grandjean on the card, who fought Zamboanga in an atomweight MMA match. The Filipina MMA star scored a masterful unanimous decision victory.
