Stamp believes her striking artillery can overcome close pal Denice Zamboanga: "She would be surprised"

Three-sport queen Stamp Fairtex will be up against a tricky test in her next assignment. Still, the Pattaya-based athlete remains confident of passing her assignment with flying colors.

The reigning ONE atomweight MMA world champion puts her prized possession on offer in the main event of ONE 167, which emanates live from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 7.

Standing across her is none other than former Fairtex Training Center teammate and the division's No. 2-ranked contender,Denice Zamboanga.

Of course, given their friendship and alliance in the past, both women know each other inside out.

And though Stamp does expect a war to unfold in the Thai capital, she might have an ace in the hole to upset the Filipina challenger and extend her reign at the top of the atomweight MMA mountain.

In an exclusive interview with The MMA Superfan, the 26-year-old said:

"I think she would be surprised by the power of my striking. Or my kicking, punching, elbows, and everything in general."

After all, the striking specialist is a wizard on the feet, and her past accolades as a former ONE atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion show that it would be foolish to underestimate her credentials in that department.

ONE 167 goes down inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, in U.S. primetime on June 7.

Stamp can become ONE's first female two-division MMA ruler at ONE 168: Denver

Should the Thai megastar ace her two upcoming assignments, she can create history by becoming the promotion's first two-division female MMA world champion.

After her clash against Zamboanga, Stamp moves up a division to challenge Xiong Jing Nan for her strawweight gold at ONE 168: Denver, set to go down inside the Ball Arena in U.S. primetime on September 6.

In the past, Jing Nan and then-atomweight MMA world champion Angela Lee switched divisions to challenge one another in one of the most iconic rivalries inside the circle.

Neither managed to claim the other's world title, though.
