Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson learns about Conor McGregor's "superpower" while on TUF

Conor McGregor is set to make his return to the mixed martial arts competition as he coaches season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) before facing Michael Chandler in the octagon later this year.

Stephen Thompson, who spent time with 'The Notorious' during the filming of the show, discussed the opportunity while speaking to Submission Radio:

"You see Conor fight, you see everything that he says on social media, but to be able to hang out with him the entire time, it was really cool. We've crossed paths many times before in the past. We've fought on the same cards. He's been in part of my management and probably owns some of my management so we would cross paths all the time, but to be able to hang out with him for the entirety of the rest of that week was really cool."

Stephen Thompson shared one special thing he noticed about Conor McGregor while spending time with him:

"It's funny how he can turn it on like he knows when a camera is on him for some reason. It's like a superpower. He knows when a camera is on him because he turns into that Conor persona... He's a showman, for sure. It's just something that switches. It's really cool to see. His voice amps up, he looks like 20 pounds bigger."

Dana White reveals Conor McGregor's demands for season 31 of TUF

During a recent appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, UFC President Dana White recently revealed the demands that the former double champ made to be a coach on season 31 of The Ultimate Fighter:

"Conor McGregor was going to coach this season of The Ultimate Fighter and he’s like, ‘yeah, I’ll do it, but I’m bringing two guys that I want to make it right onto the show.’ Then, of course, the f**king media [says], ‘oh, that’s not fair, and what happened to those guys?’ Shut the f**k up. We’ll take care of the guys that aren’t on it, and this is what Conor wants, we’ll give it to him."
