"Stop being selfish" - Jake Paul demands Conor McGregor join him and Anderson Silva in forming MMA fighters association

Jake Paul has put his rivalry with Conor McGregor aside while attempting to unionize fighters. Going into their upcoming boxing match, Anderson Silva has already agreed to join Paul in forming a fighters' association if 'The Problem Child' wins.

Paul has now called for McGregor's help as well to form the long overdue fighters' union. However, the 25-year-old did not refrain from taking a dig at 'The Notorious' and accused him of having been selfish throughout his career. 'The Problem Child' recently told The MacLife:

“Conor, I have a message for you. Join me and Anderson in helping these fighters. We need all the help we can get. You’ve been pretty selfish. At this point in your whole entire career, what have you done for a lot of fighters? This would be a powerful statement for you to join. So stop it, stop running, stop hiding, stop being selfish. We need all the help we can get in making this union. Conor McGregor that’s the message, join me and Anderson Silva. It needs to be done.”

Jake Paul's unusual bet with Anderson Silva

Jake Paul will arguably face the toughest test of his boxing career in Anderson Silva this weekend. Paul and Silva have agreed to a somewhat unusual bet at the pre-fight press conference.

Paul proposed a kickboxing rematch against Silva if the latter wins. While 'The Problem Child' initially offered an MMA fight, Silva said that he doesn't compete in MMA anymore.

Meanwhile, if Paul emerges victorious, he wants Silva to join him in forming a fighters' association:

"If I win, me and you come together to create a united fighters' association to help UFC fighters get better pay and better healthcare. You become the interim president. We unite to help these fighters once and for all."

Silva emphatically said "deal" and the two shook hands at the center of the stage.
