Striking maestros Eddie Abasolo and Mohamed Younes Rabah set to throw down at ONE 169
Fireworks will be set off at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on November 8 once dynamic warriors Eddie Abasolo and Mohamed Younes Rabah collide in a featherweight Muay Thai contest at ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reug.
The American Abasolo has long carried the torch for the USA's Muay Thai scene and proven why he's one of the most exciting fighters in the world today.
Win or lose, 'Silky Smooth' lives up to his moniker and puts on a dazzling show with his fluid striking and cat-like reflexes.
Despite coming up short in his last two contests against ranked opponents Luke 'The Chef' Lessei and Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, Abasolo is a dangerous adversary who remains dangerous as long as there's time on the clock.
The 37-year-old virtuoso showcased just how smooth he can be with his thunderous knockout of Niclas Larsen last year.
Abasolo is indeed hungry for victory and wants to take out his frustrations on Younes Rabah.
'The Eagle' put the entire 155-pound Muay Thai division on notice last year when he took out former title challenger Saemapetch Fairtex in one round.
However, the Algerian skyscraper fell short in his rematch with the Thai veteran at ONE Fight Night 19 last February.
Younes Rabah's imposing height and length are indeed a problem and he's a master when it comes to dictating the distance.
We'll find out who moves up the pecking order in the stacked featherweight Muay Thai division at ONE 169.
