"Stupidest f*cking movie ever" - Sean Strickland takes it out on M. Night Shyamalan for directing the film 'Signs'

Sean Strickland ridiculed legendary filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan for one of his older movies.

In August 2002, Shyamalan released a Science Fiction/Thriller movie called 'Signs.' The near-two-hour production highlighted a family's encounter with aliens after discovering crop circles near their house. According to Rotten Tomatoes, 'Signs' received a 65% approval rating from approved critics.

Meanwhile, former middleweight champion Strickland recently shared his opinion on the throwback movie. Per usual, Strickland wasn't afraid to voice his honest thoughts, as he had this to say on X about Shyamalan's production:

"Yall ever seen the movie signs??? F**king aliens invade a planet made of mostly water and their one weakness is water... To this day it still pisses me of and ill never forgive M Night Shyamalan for that. Stupidest f**king movie ever... God I need to spar"

In September 2023, Strickland made history by dethroning Israel Adesanya for the UFC middleweight title. However, he failed to defend his strap as Dricus du Plessis defeated him by a split decision four months later.

Strickland now looks to potentially regain his throne in his next octagon appearance.

Is Sean Strickland expected to fight Dricus du Plessis next for the UFC middleweight title?

Earlier this year, Sean Strickland bounced back from his loss against Dricus du Plessis when he battled Paulo Costa at UFC 302. Strickland dominated the five-round matchup before emerging victorious by split decision, which most people believe should have been a unanimous decision.

Following Strickland's latest performance, Dana White announced the former middleweight king would face the winner of Dricus du Plessis vs Israel Adesanya. At UFC 305, du Plessis overcame Adesanya's late momentum and extended his 185-pound title run with a fourth-round rear-naked choke submission.

Despite White's comments, there's a chance Strickland doesn't fight Du Plessis next. On Oct. 26, Robert Whittaker and Khamzat Chimaev will meet at UFC 308 for an action-packed middleweight matchup. Depending on the outcome, either fighter could convince the UFC they are more deserving of the title shot.

With that said, Strickland has vowed to not fight again unless it's for the 185-pound strap. It'll be intriguing to see how everything plays out in a middleweight division that has become one of the most intriguing in the promotion.
