Suablack believes Superlek will pay dearly if he underestimates Kongthoranee at ONE Friday Fights 68

Suablack Tor Pran49 warns Superlek Kiatmoo9 not to underestimate Kongthoranee Sor Sommai at ONE Friday Fights 68. Later this week, ONE Friday Fights 68 will feature several action-packed matchups on pay-per-view.

In the co-main event, the ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion looks to extend his legendary run in a non-title flyweight Muay Thai bout against Kongthoranee, who holds a promotional record of 8-1.

During an interview with the South China Morning Post, Suablack, who is also fighting at ONE Friday Fights 68, had this to say about the Muay Thai matchup between 'The Kicking Machine' and Kongthoranee:

"If Superlek underestimates Kongthoranee a lot, maybe Kongthoranee can win against him."

Suablack also has business to take care of at Friday's ONE Friday Fights 68. The 27-year-old last fought on April 5, defeating Vladimir Kuzmin by unanimous decision. He now looks to extend his promotional record to 9-0 by taking out Kiamran Nabati, who is also undefeated under the ONE banner (2-0).

ONE Friday Fights 68 goes down inside the legendary combat sports venue of Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The stacked seven-fight pay-per-view main card can be purchased here.

Is Superlek underestimating Kongthoranee?

Superlek isn't the type of fighter to underestimate his opponents.

With that said, the Thai superstar isn't completely focused on his upcoming matchup against Kongthoranee, as he's scheduled to challenge Jonathan Haggerty for his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title on Sept. 6 at ONE 168: Denver.

Nonetheless, 'The Kicking Machine' has continuously claimed he's not overlooking Kongthoranee. Despite facing many world-class opponents, Superlek is aware of the skills his ONE Friday Fights 68 opponent possesses, especially considering the latter is riding a seven-fight win streak.

Later this week, Kongthoranee has an opportunity to skyrocket his marketability by defeating the ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion. It'll be easier said than done, as the Kiatmoo9 Gym athlete is coming off legendary wins against Rodtang (Muay Thai) and Takeru Segawa (kickboxing).
