Superlek says double champ Jonathan Haggerty lacking in technical ability: “I don't mean that he's not tough”

Reigning and undisputed ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 of Thailand believes upcoming opponent, two-sport king 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty of the United Kingdom is severely lacking in one crucial aspect.

Superlek says Haggerty is one of the most explosive and talented fighters in ONE Championship. But he is left wanting in the technical aspect, and Superlek is confident he's the better fighter.

Speaking to the South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Superlek shared his thoughts on Haggerty's fighting style.

'The Kicking Machine' said:

"Well, I don't mean that he's not tough or he's not good. I mean that, like as a technical fighter like me, I am meant to read the game plans of other people, of my opponents..."

Superlek will attempt to become a two-division, two-sport world champion, which is an extremely rare feat in and of itself. If he's able to defeat Haggerty, who has settled quite nicely at bantamweight, Superlek will undoubtedly make history.

Fans won't have to wait long to see these two warriors throw down in the Circle.
