Superlek says he'll proudly represent Thailand in ONE's return to the United States: "Show all this to the world"
Superlek Kiatmoo9 is no stranger to competing on big stages in the elite tier of striking sports but his next fight will bring a new experience.
The Thai competitor has applied his craft all over the world but Muay Thai and kickboxing are still growing in the United States.
ONE Championship gave the US fans a taste of what they could expect when hosting ONE Fight Night 10 in Broomfield, Colorado last year.
That card featured Thai star Rodtang Jitmuangnon. This time around, ONE 168 is taking it to a whole new level with one of the biggest and baddest fights of the year.
Superlek will look to close out the show at the Ball Arena in Denver by dethroning ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty.
'The Kicking Machine' is focused on the task at hand but he's also making sure to take this moment in so that it doesn't pass him by.
He spoke in an interview with the South China Morning Post about what it means to him to headline this card on US soil:
"I'm super happy that I get a chance to do this, and I get the chance to, as a Thai representative, being someone on the stage and show all this to the world. I'm just super grateful for the opportunity."

Superlek is ready to show out for the US fans
The fans in attendance at the Ball Arena on September 6 don't know what they're in for when they watch Superlek compete against Jonathan Haggerty.
Both men have put together winning streaks that clearly outline them as two of the best in the world right now making this a true dream fight.
