Surging UFC flyweight becomes the latest member of the 'Smesh Squad' featuring Darren Till and Khamzat Chimaev
English MMA fighter Muhammad Mokaev has announced that he has joined the 'Smesh Squad,' which also includes Darren Till and Khamzat Chimaev.
Mokaev took to Twitter to share his new training partners Chimaev and Till, who are known as the "Smesh Bros." The squad's latest addition is currently competing in the UFC's flyweight division.
'The Punisher' unveiled his inclusion with new training partners, posting:
The 'Smesh Bros' has quickly emerged as the most popular MMA duo. 'Borz' and 'The Gorilla' are not just teammates but also close friends. Their bond has become the talk of the town, with fans admiring their camaraderie both inside and outside the UFC octagon. Their mutual love for training and pushing each other to their limits has only strengthened their friendship.
They even have their own YouTube channel where they share exclusive training videos. They give fans a behind-the-scenes look at their intense workouts and techniques. The channel has become popular among combat fans and has only added to the excitement surrounding these two talented fighters.
Who's Next for the Undefeated Khamzat Chimaev?
Khamzat Chimaev is still waiting to book his next fight in March but has yet to find an opponent.
The highly-touted and undefeated Chechen fighter is known for his dominant performances inside the Octagon. His recent first-round submission victory over Kevin Holland only solidified his reputation as a force to be reckoned with.
Chimaev's determination to continue improving his skills and stay at the top of his game led him to travel all the way to Dubai to begin his training camp for his next fight.
Despite being willing to compete at either middleweight or welterweight, Chimaev claims that numerous opponents have already declined to fight him. This only adds fuel to his already intense competitive fire. As he waits for a new bout agreement, he continues to train and prepare for anyone who is willing to fight him.
Khamzat Chimaev recently posted on Instagram stating the same, as he wrote:
"I will just practice, I have no news for you!"
