“Takeru’s boxing is on a different level” - Lito Adiwang breaks down Takeru’s chances in impending match with Rodtang

Filipino strawweight MMA sensation 'Thunder Kid' Lito Adiwang of the Philippines, like many fans around the world, simply cannot wait until Japanese kickboxing icon Takeru Segawa and Muay Thai demigod Rodtang Jitmuangnon are locked in the ring together and ready to trade leather.

Without a doubt, a potential Rodtang versus Takeru fight would be massive, and perhaps even the biggest striking match in history, given just how popular the two fighters are with their respective fanbases.

Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Adiwang shared his thoughts on this potential matchup.

'Thunder Kid' said:

"I think if it’s Muay Thai, Rodtang’s going to have an advantage. What I worry about is if they fight in kickboxing, they’re going to be using the bigger 8oz gloves, and Takeru’s boxing is on a different level."

By all indications, it appears that ONE Championship is trying to make the Rodtang versus Takeru fight.

'The Iron Man' and 'The Natural Born Crusher' have been on a collision course since the Japanese star joined the world's largest martial arts organization earlier this year.

With Takeru having won his latest fight in the promotion against Thant Zin just last month, it's now up to Rodtang to win and keep his end of the bargain.
