Takeru Segawa wants to face the best fighters in the world: “That's what fighting in ONE means to me”

Japanese sensation Takeru Segawa only wants one thing in his career – to take on the best fighters in the global stage. It was the reason he joined the world's largest martial arts organization.

He experienced this first-hand in his debut loss in the hands of the-now two sports ONE world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9. Now, Takeru wants to bounce back and leave that setback behind.

Knowing that there are a handful of top contenders lurking in his division, the 33-year-old is determined to return to the world title contention. He restarts his bid by going against Burmese rising star Thant Zin at ONE Friday Fights 81.
