Jacob Smith looks to hand Rodtang a loss in their highly anticipated rematch
On Friday, Nov. 8, Rodtang will return to martial arts' biggest global stage set to defend his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title once again at ONE presents a massive ONE 169 card inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
There, 'The Iron Man' will run back his 2022 clash with British striker Jacob Smith in one of four massive ONE world title fights.
Rodtang and Smith previously met at ONE 157 when the latter made his promotional debut. 'The Iron Man' handily defeated Smith that night, dominating the Brit with a barrage of brutal elbow strikes that left him bloodied and battered following the three-round affair.
Since then, Smith has shown significant improvement, earning a highlight-reel knockout against Walter Goncalves before going toe-to-toe with 'The Bosnian Menace' Denis Puric earlier this year.
Will Smith find his way into the win column the second time around, or will Rodtang once again put it on the top-five ranked contender and keep 26 pounds of gold wrapped around his waist?
Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE 169: Malykhin vs. ‘Reug Reug’ live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Nov. 8 in U.S. primetime.
