Teen phenom Adrian Lee banking on his all-around arsenal for Nico Cornejo fight at ONE 168: Denver

Adrian Lee plans to showcase his well-rounded fighting skills in his upcoming fight against Nico Cornejo.

In June, Adrian Lee, the younger brother of ONE Championship legends Angela and Christian Lee, made his promotional debut. The 18-year-old validated the fans' expectations at ONE 167 by dominating Antonio Mammarella before securing the win with a rear-naked choke in round two.

On September 6, Lee will make his second appearance under the ONE banner when the promotion returns to North America. The rising superstar's latest challenge is debuting star Nico Cornejo, a 35-year-old fresh off back-to-back finishes since turning pro.

During an interview with ONE, the Prodigy Training Center star had this to say about his upcoming fight against Cornejo:

“I plan to bring into this fight how well-rounded I really am. I plan to show more of my striking, more of my grappling, and more of my wrestling in this fight compared to my last.”

ONE 168 will showcase several intriguing matchups inside the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

In the main event, two-sport world champion Jonathan Haggerty looks to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai strap against flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Tickets for the upcoming event on September 6 can be found on Ticketmaster.

Adrian Lee plans to take another step toward Christian Lee's lightweight MMA world title

At 18 years old, Adrian Lee has a long journey before fighting for the ONE lightweight MMA world champion. Luckily for him, he has plenty of time to slow things down and evolve while his brother, Christian Lee, extends his legacy.

Christian is a two-division MMA world champion after conquering gold at lightweight and welterweight.

The 26-year-old hasn't fought since defeating Kiamrian Abbasov in November 2022 due to his younger sister, Victoria Lee, tragically passing away a month after his latest fight.

On November 8, Lee will return to action and defend his lightweight throne at ONE 169: Atlanta. 'The Warrior' is scheduled to fight Alibeg Rasulov, who defeated Ok Rae Yoon by unanimous decision in his promotional debut on July 5. Rasulov now looks to extend his undefeated professional MMA record by taking out Lee.
