Teofimo Lopez predicts stoppage finish in Gervonta Davis vs. Frank Martin clash - “He’s just waiting for that one good shot"
Teofimo Lopez has shared a prediction for the upcoming clash between Gervonta Davis and Frank Martin, set to take place on June 15. 'Tank' will be defending his WBA lightweight title, hoping to add a fourth successful defense to his tally.
Davis and Franklin will enter the ring undefeated, with records of 29-0 and 18-0, respectively. With Martin adamant that he hurt 'Tank' during a sparring session they had several years ago, both pugilists will be eager to prove themselves to be the superior boxer.
Lopez believes that the fight will end in a finish, as he shared his prediction during a recent interview with Morning Kombat. He said this:
"It's more profound for [Davis] to win in a outclassing way, than it is for Frank Martin. I believe that Frank needs to really just bite down on that mouthpiece and obviously if he does get hit, stap around it. That's a wake up call, 'Tank' is very lazy in there. He's just waiting for that one good shot to really finish the fight. And he has that. That's nothing bad, but that's a gift he has."
He continued:
"I believe that 'Tank' finishes him in less that six [rounds]... You look at how everything looks, and you see it for what it is."

Teofimo Lopez once again calls out Terence Crawford; confident he can beat 'Bud'
'The Takeover' has not lost hope of a potential clash with pound-for-pound great Terence Crawford, whom he had previously called out.
Teofimo Lopez had also criticized the resume of Crawford in the past, prompting a fiery response from the former undisputed welterweight champion. Lopez currently competes at light welterweight (140 pounds), two weight classes below Crawford - who will make his super welterweight (154 pounds) debut later this year.
But, during his aforementioned interview, Lopez once again called out 'Bud', saying this:
"The main goal at the moment is to have that triple crown. And that triple crown, for me, is Terence Crawford. A lot of people laught at that... But they said the same thing for me against Josh Taylor, they also said the same thing for me against Vasily Lomachenko and Richard Commey... I'm just someone who wants to face the best. Terence Crawford is one of the best." [3:50-4:25]
