Terence Crawford believes Kendrick Lamar botch at Noche UFC was intentional: "How can you get us mixed up?"
Terence Crawford recently shared his thoughts on being mistaken for Kendrick Lamar. Crawford expressed his amusement at the blunder made by the UFC broadcast. This past Saturday, the promotion hosted its Noche UFC 306 pay-per-view event at the famed Las Vegas Sphere.
Two title bouts highlighted the event, Mexico's Alexa Grasso defending her flyweight title against Valentina Shevchenko, and Merab Dvalishvili taking on Sean O'Malley for the bantamweight title.
Owing to the event's magnitude, prominent figures in the combat sports community were present, including Crawford and Turki Alalshikh, the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, who were seated side by side together.
Unfortunately, the UFC broadcast team faced a major setback when they discovered that Crawford's nametag said "Kendrick Lamar." The mistake quickly went viral on the internet among fans.

''It was funny because everybody was texting me up and talking about,' He’s Terrence Thornton, I’m Terence Crawford' and I was just like you thinking about the song and I wasn't in tune with the broadcast had post me and called me Kendrick Lamar, so I'm just not taking any notice of it and then I started seeing the pictures coming to my phone and everybody laughing like,'oh man they got you messed up', and then I just took a little chuckle.''
Crawford added:
''To be honest, I think it was intentionally done just for laughters because how can you get us mixed up.''

Terence Crawford is ready to take on Canelo Alvarez
Terence Crawford, who was seated next to Turki Alalshikh at Noche UFC 306, cited that he is ready to face Canelo Alvarez during his Instagram Live.
After Alvarez successfully defended his super middleweight title against Edgar Berlanga via unanimous decision last weekend, Crawford took to X and hinted towards a potential fight with the Mexican superstar, writing:
''Put me in the game coach!''
