Terence Crawford and Teofimo Lopez almost get into public brawl ringside at Canelo Alvarez's fight

Terence Crawford confronted Teofimo Lopez for his past comments when the pair were seated ringside for Canelo Alvarez's recent fight against Edgar Berlanga. Lopez had partaken in some training with Alvarez ahead of his title fight on Sept. 14 and was in attendance to show support for the super middleweight.

Lopez's prior remarks revolved around Crawford being too old to pursue a fight with Alvarez, as well as claiming that 'Bud' has only competed against injured opponents.

His dismissal of the Nebraska native's talent and resume did not sit well with the WBA super welterweight champion, who let his feelings be known to 'The Takeover' after crossing paths at the boxing event.

In the footage captured of the incident, it appears that 'Bud' tapped Lopez on the head and shared some words with him en route to his allocated seat. A video of the near-brawl was uploaded to X by @accordtoboxing with the caption:

The pair of pugilists have traded words online on numerous occasions, and with 'The Takeover' having previously expressed interest in a fight with Crawford, their recent exchange in person could be the catalyst for potential negotiations for a bout.

Dana White reacts to Terence Crawford being confused for Kendrick Lamar at Noche UFC 306

Noche UFC 306 was a combat sports event that was the first of its kind, with the highly anticipated pay-per-view taking place at the iconic Sphere venue in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The event was a celebration of Mexican Independence Day, with the unique set-up at the Sphere attracting some of the biggest names across the globe, with notable athletes such as Terence Crawford in attendance as well.

But with the UFC's production usually seamless, there was an unexpected error when showing Crawford on the big screen, as his name tag onscreen read as "Kendrick Lamar".

The blunder was picked up instantly by MMA fans and has gone viral online, with UFC CEO Dana White asked about the moment during his post-fight press conference. He said this:

"I don't know who the hell did that and thought he was [Kendrick Lamar]. That was pretty bad. He did kind of look like Kendrick Lamar though, let's not f**k around. When I said we had a flawless production tonight, I take that back."
