Terrance McKinney talks about Paddy Pimblett's behavior after his controversial win over Jared Gordon

It's no secret that Terrance McKinney isn't the biggest fan of Paddy Pimblett. But the lightweight claims he understands why the Scouser acted the way he did following his win over Jared Gordon, despite believing he clearly lost the bout.

'T.Wrecks' doesn't have star power compared to some of the biggest names in the sport outside the cage. However, he is arguably one of the most entertaining prospects when the octagon doors close behind him. His kill-or-be-killed attitude has led to a fantastic year and a half since joining the UFC.

During a recent interview, Terrance McKinney insisted that while Paddy Pimblett had to act as if he had won the fight to keep the hype surrounding him flowing. The Brit knew Jared Gordon should have walked away with the victory at UFC 282:

"I thought Jared won one hundred percent. I think he was landing the cleaner shots [and] pretty much backed him [Pimblett] up the whole time... He won the first two rounds with ease and then the third round was dominated by him [as well]. Like I said, three rounds to none, [the win] should have easily went to Jared... He [Pimblett] kind of has to do that [act unsurprised with the result] to protect himself, so can't get mad at him about that but he knows deep down what happened."

The result has received mixed reviews from fans and pundits. Though the majority of supporters believe Gordon was robbed, with some claiming it has something to do with 'The Baddy's' popularity in the sport.

When could we potentially see Paddy Pimblett back in action?

Ever since arriving in the UFC, Paddy Pimblett has been active inside the octagon. That is likely not going to be any different going forward as he didn't take too much damage in his bout earlier this month.

The NextGen representative has fought four times in a little over a year since making the jump over to the UFC. After a short break to enjoy Christmas with his loved ones, we could see the Liverpudlian return to the octagon soon.

UFC 286 will be held in London, England, and is set to commence on March 18th next year. It could be a chance for Paddy Pimblett to showcase his greatness to the MMA world once again.
