"This was an easy fight" - 'Reug Reug' says Boucher Ketchup was all bark and no bite at ONE Fight Night 23
'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane believes that the trash-talking from his opponent at ONE Fight Night 23 had no impact on their fight. The heavyweight powerhouse made a statement at Lumpinee Stadium this past weekend where he put an end to the beef between him and Boucher Ketchup.
The two Senegalese wrestling powerhouses had gone back and forth on social media before making the call to face one another in a kickboxing bout. 'Reug Reug' says that he didn't need any extra motivation to come away with the win on July 5 despite everything that had happened before the contest happened.
He spoke in his post-event press conference about how he was always only concentrating on the task at hand:
"Yes, but this is [just a] fight. In a fight, you come in hungry and this is a fight. You come in [here] all the time and you're hungry. You just gotta beat this guy. He's talking too much, this guy, since [before] the fight."
'Reug Reug' continued, adding that through all of the talking, all he did was focus on getting his hand raised which didn't end up being a difficult task for him:
"[He's] somebody coming for, you know, business. You have nothing you can only control the game. But this was an easy fight."

'Reug Reug' made an example out of his opponent on July 5
It seems unlikely that any more wrestling rivals of 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane will look to try and test him in the near future after what he did at ONE Fight Night 23.
Boucher Ketchup had a lot to answer for if he was going to really test the next man in line for a shot at the ONE heavyweight world championship.
From the moment the fight started, it was clear that there was a huge gap in skill between the two men and as his opponent started to flail wildly, all 'Reug Reug' did was keep his composure and look for the shot that closed the show in the opening round.
