"That was so perfect" - Tawanchai PK Saenchai's mind-bending leg kick knockout of Jamal Yusupov has fans perplexed

Tawanchai PK Saenchai's first ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title defense happened in February 2023 at ONE Fight Night 7 against Jamal Yusupov. The event took place inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Tawanchai made quick work of Yusupov with a 49-second TKO finish of him in the opening round. ONE Championship reposted the Thai superstar's winning moment on Instagram:

The 25-year-old phenom uncorked a deadly kick on the Turkish fighter's left leg that not only made him unable to continue the fight, giving the victory to Tawanchai, but also suffer an injury.

Tawancahi to face Superbon in a world title rematch on January 24 at ONE 170

After that win over Yusupov, Tawanchai added four more wins to his tally by beating Davit Kiria, Jo Nattawut (twice), and ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon.

Now, the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion is preparing for a second world title defense against Superbon on Jan. 24 in the main event of ONE 170, which will take place inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

The PK Saenchai Muaythaigym representative drew first blood in their head-to-head matchup in December 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 46, where he eked out a unanimous decision win.
