"That's another [Mike] Tyson-Jake Paul" - Logan Paul's confidante shares major update about rumored Conor McGregor fight

Logan Paul and Conor McGregor potentially fighting in the boxing ring in 2025 is a rumor that many are talking about, including an individual who is close to the former. Mike Majlak is a regularly featured media personality alongside Paul as he co-host's the former WWE US champion's podcast Impaulsive.

Speaking to Daily Mail Sport in recent times, Majlak provided some insights into his podcast co-host potentially boxing the former UFC double champ when he said:

"From what I understand, there was conversations about it a while ago. I don't know if Conor just woke up in Ibiza or something and decided that he wanted to talk about it today. From the last thing I heard, there was no updates there. So I don't know if he's just out of his mind and just talking out about it. Logan just had a kid, he's locked in, and he's a girl dad. So unless there's something that I haven't heard which is very possible. I don't know what the hell Conor's talking about. But I'll say this: no matter what, I think the boxing world would love to see it. I think we're talking about two very controversial personalities, one loved and hated... Two countries, two different fighting disciplines. The world watches that fight. That's another [Mike] Tyson-Jake Paul. I want to see it happen."

Logan Paul vs. Conor McGregor and the many tendrils to this rumored boxing bout

Logan Paul and Conor McGregor potentially boxing in India while funded by the wealthy Ambani family was not on many people's bingo cards for 2025. This rumored contest does make a certain level of sense though when you consider the broader histories of both men.

McGregor threw down with Floyd Mayweather in Aug. 2017 in what served as the final professional boxing bout in the illustrious career of Mayweather while it was McGregor's pro boxing debut. The fight is one of the biggest blockbuster bouts in history but Mayweather also has his ties to Logan Paul.

The 29-year-old also stepped into the ring with Mayweather under Queensberry Rules albeit in an exhibition contest. The controversial prizefight did go the distance and being an exhibition, there was no official winner disclosed.

Paul's singular boxing win, by way of a disqualification, came against longtime McGregor ally, Dillon Danis. The rivalry between the Ohio native's brother Jake Paul and McGregor is also well documented.

Many wondered if McGregor was even confusing the Pauls when initially discussing this on X as Jake Paul is more active in the sweet science. In any event, McGregor seems to be getting the promotional machine rolling even though this Logan Paul bout is not official.
