"That's what no one has"- Mike Tyson reveals Dana White’s boxing success hinges on one factor, claims Artur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol fight "stunk"

Mike Tyson is without doubt one of boxing's most iconic figures, with the former heavyweight champion regarded as one of the most vicious knockout artists in the sport's history.

'Iron Mike' is set to make a return to professional boxing on Nov. 15 for the first time since 2005. He will face Jake Paul in a highly anticipated bout at the AT&T Stadium in Texas.

During his recent appearance on the Pound 4 Pound podcast hosted by Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo, Tyson discussed UFC CEO Dana White's ambitions of entering the world of boxing.

Tyson shared the key that he believed would help White conquer boxing and also discussed the recently held Artur Beterbiev vs. Dmitry Bivol fight, one of boxing's biggest spectacles of the 21st century.

Both men were vying to become an undisputed light heavyweight champion, but Tyson did not speak highly of the title fight.

"I would love to give [Dana White] some insights... I think he's gonna do a good job... It's up to him if he's gonna be corrupt or not, and if he gets the fights. The name of the game is to get the fighters, and to get the most money for the least risk... [White] needs a great matchmaker. That's what no one has now."

He continued:

"You see they put Bivol and [Beterbiev] together, the match stunk! They don't know how to put great matches together where the fight's gonna be exciting."

Mike Tyson lists his five best boxers to watch across divisions

Mike Tyson is a universally loved figure in boxing, and his pugilistic opinions are respected.

The former heavyweight king will be returning to action for the first time since his exhibition fight against fellow boxing icon Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, which was deemed a draw on the judges' scorecards.

With several weeks until his clash with Jake Paul, 'Iron Mike' is doing numerous interviews to help build the fight. During his aforementioned appearance on the Pound 4 Pound podcast, he listed his five best boxers to watch right now, saying:

"[David] Benavidez, 'Tank' [Gervonta Davis], Shakur [Stevenson] when he's got that kind of guy, like if 'Tank' was fighting him. Something like that. Who else? Of course we've got [Terence] 'Bud' Crawford, and listen, I like [Errol] Spence Jr. too." [23:35-23:55 in Mike Tyson's aforementioned interview]
