"That was when my skills were able to vastly jump" - Adrian Lee narrates exact moment he upgraded his MMA arsenal

Ahead of his highly anticipated debut, Adrian Lee believes that the build to ONE 167 has been the product of years of work rather than a sudden surge. ONE Championship fans have been hearing about the next Lee sibling for some time now as he racked up experience in amateur competition.

There has been high praise from his family, specifically the two-divison world champion Christian Lee.

On June 7, ONE fans will finally get a chance to see what Adrian is like in action as the 18-year-old prospect makes his pro debut at the Impact Arena.

This contest against Antonio Mammarella has been a long time coming, but not because of this fight itself, but rather the occasion.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Adrian Lee spoke about whether or not he has seen his skills spike in recent times, stating that his development has been accelerated since he decided to dedicate himself to this pursuit:

"No, I think I had a pretty steady and gradual increase in my skills throughout the years, but I think once I really started focusing on MMA and deciding that this was something I wanted to pursue, that was when my skills were able to vastly jump."

Adrian Lee isn't short on motivation or people in his corner

When making the call to really focus on MMA and becoming a professional fighter, Adrian Lee knew that he would have a close team of supporters around him who would look to make the transition as smooth as possible.

The Lee family has a reputation following the incredible success of both Angela and Christian, and of course, it goes without saying that the memory of Victoria lives in them all.

This surname comes with some additional pressure to succeed, but that is for good reason.

It is now up to Adrian to deliver following all of the hard work he has put in ahead of this big step in his career.

ONE 167 will air live from the Impact Arena in Bangkok on June 7. Active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North American can catch the entire card for free live in U.S. primetime.
