"That will bring the head up pretty quick" - Michael Bisping suggests an alternative for 'fish-hooking' to Michael Chandler as Dustin Poirier calls him a "dirty motherf***er"
Michael Bisping has an idea as to what Michael Chandler should have done to sink in a rear-naked choke against Dustin Poirier at UFC 281.
In a back-and-forth thriller, Poirier defeated 'Iron' via a rear-naked choke in the third round. But before the finish, Chandler attempted a rear-naked choke of his own. To get his arm under 'The Diamond's neck, Chandler used the illegal 'fish-hook' technique. This irked Poirier, who appealed to the referee.
In a recent video uploaded to his YouTube account, Bisping weighed in on the controversial incident and shared an alternative move that 'Iron' should have used in the fight:
"Here's a little tip. If you want to expose someone's neck, you don't have to fish-hook them. You get the fingers, you shove them under the nose, under the septum, that will bring the head up pretty quick," said Michael Bisping.

Another moment in the fight that caught people's attention was when Chandler was on top of Poirier and blood started pouring out of 'Iron's nose and on 'The Diamond's face. The Louisiana native believes Chandler blew his nose on purpose during that moment. Poirier had some explicit words to say about Chandler's actions in the fight.
But in the post-fight press conference, the former Bellator MMA champion said that his intentions were not malicious. He added that he did it in order to breathe through his nose.
Khabib Nurmagomedov suggests an opponent for Dustin Poirier's next fight
Khabib Nurmagomedov believes Dustin Poirier should go toe-to-toe against Beneil Dariush in his next encounter. In his tweet, 'The Eagle' also suggested that the fight take place at UFC 284 in Australia.
In the UFC 281 post-fight press conference, Poirier was asked for his response to Nurmagomedov's suggestion. 'The Diamond' said that a matchup with Dariush made sense as the Iranian-born fighter was currently riding an impressive win streak:
"That's one that makes a lot of sense. Beneil has earned his stripes and put away some tough guys, and has been looking great doing it. We'll see, I'm not against it. But it's ultimately up to the UFC and my timeframe [of] when I want to return. That's what it comes down to."

Dustin Poirier and Nurmagomedov share history inside the octagon. The two lightweights faced off at UFC 242 for the UFC title. 'The Eagle' submitted Poirier with a rear-naked choke in the third round to retain the title.
