“The American crowd is amazing” - Aung La N Sang stoked to be fighting in Denver again after a year

Burmese superstar Aung La N Sang returns for the second time in ONE's U.S. card, and he is extremely hyped to experience a warm welcome from the American crowd at ONE 168: Denver this Friday, Sept. 6.

A year since the last U.S. event, Aung La will face Shamil Erdogan, a rising contender who blasts his way through Chinese fighter Fan Rong in his debut with a second-round knockout.

But, 'The Burmese Python' is unfazed by such a challenge, as he is laser-focused on getting the victory inside the Ball Arena.

In the ONE 168 press conference recently, Aung La spoke about returning to action in the Centennial State.

He said this about the crowd:

"It's amazing. I love fighting in front of the Denver crowd, the American crowd is amazing. And the fact that I don't have to be jet lagged, so that's kind of cool."

As much as he enjoys fighting in front of this crowd in his second home, those attending inside the arena can be certain that the former two-division ONE world champion will bring his best skills to run over Erdogan in this all-action clash.

Anatoly Malykhin undecided on Aung La N Sang vs. Shamil Erdogan

Reigning and undisputed ONE heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight world champion Anatoly Malykhin will be watching closely when Aung La N Sang locks horns with Shamil Erdogan at ONE 168: Denver.

The reason is that whoever wins the fight will have the chance to face him, as this middleweight MMA showdown brings heavy world title implications.

Sladkiy told ONE Championship in a recent interview:

"If Erdogan manages to get a takedown in the first minutes and, most importantly, hold Aung La N Sang down, then the fight will go in his favor. But if Aung La keeps getting up, and if the fight drags on, then he will have chances in the later rounds because he has good stamina."
