Regian Eersel wants to defend lightweight Muay Thai crown in next fight

With Regian Eersel having exacted his revenge against Alexis Nicolas for winning the ONE lightweight kickboxing world championship from him this past April, 'The Immortal' is prepared to defend the 170-pound Muay Thai crown in his next bout.

Speaking with Mitch Chilson in the post-fight interview, the Sityodtong Amsterdam product stated:

"I want to enjoy this victory, and I think after this, I want to defend my Muay Thai belt first. But let's see what ONE offers me. I'm always ready."

Eersel's most recent defense of the lightweight Muay Thai crown happened in June 2023 against Dmitry Menshikov, whom the Surinamese-Dutch star knocked out in less than a minute.
