“The most dominant welterweight champion” - Two-division king Christian Lee reveals his dream MMA fight

Two-division ONE MMA world champion Christian Lee revealed his ultimate dream fight.

Two years ago, Lee delivered one of the greatest comes in ONE Championship history, securing a fourth-round TKO against Kiamrian Abbasov to claim the ONE welterweight MMA world title.

Already holding the ONE lightweight MMA crown, 'The Warrior' became a two-division titleholder. Alongside his world title haul on the global stage of martial arts, Lee also owns the record as the fighter with the most finishes in the promotion.

Having also bested some of the biggest names in ONE history on his way to greatness, Lee recently revealed who he would loved to have faced in their prime.

He told Cageside Press:

"I don’t know, there’s so many legends in the sport. If we’re sticking with welterweight, the division that I’m in right now, no better than GSP. He was, by far, I guess the most dominant welterweight champion out there. So if there’s any other welterweight champ I’d want to fight, that would be him."

Christian Lee's impressive track record in ONE Championship

Through 17 wins under the ONE Championship banner, Christian Lee has netted 16 finishes for an incredible 94 percent finish rate. Among those wins are 12 highlight-reel KOs against the likes of Shinya Aoki, Iuri Lapicus, Ok Rae Yoon, and Timofey Nastyukhin.

'The Warrior' has also flexed his skills on the mat, earning four submissions Mahmoud Mohamed, Cary Bullos, Keanu Subba, and Kazunori Boku. But as amazing as Lee has looked in the past, he'll definitely be ready to return to action and display an even better version of himself.

During his time away from competition, 'The Warrior's' younger brother, Adrian, has racked up two back-to-back wins under the promotional banner. The Prodigy Training Center athlete submitted both his rivals, Antonio Mammarella and Nico Cornejo, to push his overall slate to 2-0.
