"The kick was too personal" - Fans loving Oumar Kane's decision to not hold back in laidback technique breakdown
The power that ONE heavyweight MMA contender Oumar Kane has shown is something to behold because even though he was just demonstrating, it just comes out naturally.
That is exactly what happened when commentator Mitch Chilson asked him to break down his kicking technique, and the world's largest martial arts organization recently republished that video on Instagram. The caption of the video read:
"Watch out for Reug Reug 😨 Can the Senegalese warrior dethrone Anatoly Malykhin on Nov. 8 and become the new ONE Heavyweight MMA World Champion? @reugreug"
In the video, Kane was just trying to show his technique to 'The Dragon' but when he fired the head kick, he was still able to put enough power to chop Chilson's head like a tree.
Fortunately, Chilson was okay after that kick but fans reacted hilariously on the sequence, especially @andikaamirr, @ultraxbeats, @bpidd88, and @salvaparalyzer, who commented:
"The kick was too Personal 🤣"
"Be nice is not in his vocabulary 😂"
"Head kicks are not nice!! 😂"
""Be nice." Proceeds to chop his head."
Oumar Kane scheduled to face Anatoly Malykhin for heavyweight MMA supremacy at ONE 169
On Nov. 8, Oumar Kane will have his first world title opportunity, as he takes on the reigning three-division MMA world champion Anatoly Malykhin in the main event of ONE 169 for the ONE heavyweight MMA world title, which goes down inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Senegalese knockout machine currently rides a four-fight win streak, and he's looking more impressive with each passing fight.
During his victorious stretch, he has defeated the likes of Batradz Gazzaev in September 2022 at ONE 161, Jasur Mirzamukhamedov in December 2022 at ONE on Prime Video 5, Marcus Almeida in August 2023 at ONE Fight Night 13, and most recently, Boucher Ketchup, in July 2024 at ONE Fight Night 23.
