"The King of Muay Thai" - Fans glad to witness Superlek Kiatmoo9's unstoppable rise to champ-champ status in the U.S.

ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 surpassed all expectations when he dethroned ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Jonathan Haggerty with a lightning-quick knockout at ONE 168: Denver last Friday, Sept. 6, inside the Ball Arena.

In a video posted by ONE on Instagram, 'The Kicking Machine' was in no rush to return to the locker room as he took time to give love back to the fans and eagerly participated in selfies with a massive smile on his face.

Superlek's 49-second knockout of 'The General', who still holds the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world championship, is undoubtedly one of the greatest performances of his famed career.


Superlek not convinced with his achievements yet

Now reigning as the ONE flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai world champion, Superlek further cemented himself as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world. However, he does not see things that way just yet.

Speaking with Nick Atkin, the 28-year-old stated:

"I don't think I'm quite there yet. I think that I still have ways to go in terms of getting used to the rule set of ONE, fighting with an exciting style to really bring my style of Muay Thai to the rest of the world."
