"The last man to defeat Superlek" - Relive how Ilias Ennahachi handed Superlek his lone loss in ONE Championship

Ilias Ennahachi was the only dominant ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion with a decisive victory on his resume over pound-for-pound great Superlek Kiatmoo9.

The two legendary fighters met for the first time at ONE: Fists of Fury in February 2021. Ennahachi, the defending champion, started the bout strong, maintaining the pressure with powerful combinations and tricky counters.

But midway into the fight, Ennahachi's offense began to wane as Superlek worked his rival with rapid kicks from the outside.

Ennahachi bounced back stronger in the championship round, timing big counters every time Superlek unleashed the kicks. However, like all close matches, the final decision, when Ennahachi was declared the winner, caused much debate amongst the fans.

The Dutch-Moroccan superstar hopes to cross paths with Superlek one more time and put a decisive end to their rivalry.

If Ennahachi scores a win at ONE Friday Fights 81 against former ONE bantamweight ruler Hiroki Akimoto on September 27, it would mean world title implications for the 28-year-old striker.
