"The level is just different"- Joe Rogan gets brutally honest about Kai Asakura’s UFC debut loss against Alexandre Pantoja

Joe Rogan recently weighed in on Kai Asakura's UFC debut against Alexandre Pantoja, stating that their bout was a prime example that the level of fighters in the promotion are far higher than under any other fight banner.

At UFC 310 last weekend, Asakura made his debut against Pantoja for the men's flyweight title. The Japanese star had previously fought under the RIZIN banner, becoming a multi-time bantamweight champion and amassing a 21-4 professional record throughout his career.

Asakura had promised fans a highlight reel finish, however, Pantoja proved that anything in the UFC's octagon is much easier said than done. After a fairly back-and-forth opening round that saw 'The Cannibal' drop the 31-year-old, he then demonstrated his all-round game by taking Asakura to the canvas before locking in a rear-naked choke for the victory.

Following the fight, Rogan then shared his thoughts on the encounter during episode #2242 of the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) with Bert Sorin. He explained:

"The level at the UFC, as great as some of these guys look in other organizations, the level at the UFC, that's the peak. Those are the greatest fighters. There's no arguing about it. We saw that this past weekend. Alexandre Pantoja...he fought this dude Kai Asakura from Japan who's an assassin...but the level is just different, Pantoja just strangled him. It's just the way he did it. F*cking him up on the feet, f*cking him up everywhere. He was just pushing him at this insane pace."

Joe Rogan weighs in on mysterious drones spotted flying over New Jersey

Joe Rogan recently shared his thoughts on the drone mystery currently affecting New Jersey, with many members of the public reporting that they have spotted several waves of drones flying over different cities in the state.

The White House later released a statement that told the public there is nothing to fear and the drones were infact on an authorized flight schedule, however, Rogan isn't so sure.

Speaking on the same episode of his podcast with guest Bert Sorin, the UFC commentator stated that he believes something more inexplicable could be at play. He said:

"Have you seen all these UFOs in New Jersey lately? In the last few days, there's been this steady stream. They're not UFOs. They're drones... They're not moving in any extraordinary way; they look like drones. It just looks like a bunch of a**holes thinks it's fun to put drones up everywhere, but now there's all this weird mythology attached to it, where the governor was saying, 'Sometimes, as soon as we put eyes on them, they take off.'"
