Sean Strickland goes off on former UFC champion who's contemplating octagon return
Sean Strickland recently slammed Luke Rockhold for contemplating a return to the octagon. Strickland went off on the former UFC middleweight champion in a profanity-filled rant during an interview with The Schmo.
Strickland believes Rockhold has lost all relevance and will leave MMA a better place by hanging up his gloves for good. The 31-year-old told The Schmo:
"The moment that man vanished from MMA, it's going to be a better place. Luke Rockhold, the man has no f***ing chin. [expletives] Luke Rockhold is everything that is f***ing wrong with the world. That man, every day, probably looks in the mirror and jerks off to his reflection. Luke Rockhold, just vanish. Go away bro. No one wants to hear your sh*t. Move on."

Strickland's comments came off the back of Luke Rockhold teasing a comeback in the aftermath of Alex Pereira's title win over Israel Adesanya at UFC 281.
Rockhold officially announced his retirement after a lopsided unanimous decision loss to Paulo Costa at UFC 278 in August. The former champion was weirdly sluggish in his return to the octagon after a three-year hiatus. However, Rockhold has since changed his tune and hinted at another return to the octagon.
Rockhold stated that his short-lived retirement might end if Alex Pereira dethroned Israel Adesanya. According to the former UFC middleweight champion, Pereira winning the title would mean all the wrestlers in the division jostling for a shot at the "free belt."
Sean Strickland on Luke Rockhold's UFC middleweight title win
Sean Strickland and Luke Rockhold have traded several barbs since Rockhold pulled out of their scheduled UFC 268 outing last year. Strickland even expressed happiness when asked about the former champion's retirement in the aftermath of UFC 278.
Strickland labeled Rockhold an 'uptight c*nt' who nobody thinks of as a solid guy. He also claimed that the former champion had won the title at an easy time. Rockhold dethroned Chris Weidman via fourth-round TKO in 2015 to win the middleweight title, which he couldn't successfully defend. He was knocked out by Michael Bisping in his next bout.
Strickland said in a previous interview with The Schmo:
“No one thought Luke was gonna win. We all knew that. You guys f*cking knew that. I knew that. F*cking guy is a champion. He does train. He wasn’t going to win, but like, he’s not a f*cking can. You don’t win a belt, even if he did win at a very easy time. You don’t win a belt and then f*cking suck.”
