“The most technical kick in the game” - Superbon has fans singing praises for mind-bending head kick KO of Tayfun Ozcan
ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon is undoubtedly one of the best striking maestros in all martial arts today. His accolades can easily back this claim.
Recently, ONE Championship even added more proof of his place as one of the top athletes in the striking arts, as highlights and ending sequence of his featherweight clash with Tayfun Ozcan in June 2023 were reposted by the promotion on Instagram.
The video's caption reads:
"When Superbon unleashed a head kick knockout for the ages 💯 What's next for the Thai star? @superbon_banchamek"
As seen in the video, the former two-time ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion was spamming 'Turbine' with multiple kicks throughout their clash at ONE Fight Night 11.
Eventually, the Thai superstar found the chin of Ozcan with a vicious left kick that instantly put him to sleep and recorded another highlight-reel finish in the second round of the encounter.
This incredible finish has dropped the jaws of fans in awe, as users @adlrinfpano, @the_shark2012, @thebiggym_larnaca, @laysim_, and @adam_moutii_ gave their high praise to Superbon with their comments:
"The most technical kick in the game."
"Right on the chin"
"Superbon 🤝 ending careers with a devastating headkick"
"His opponent was actually very good, it's the constant kicking to the head at all time and one minor error, it's deadly 😯"
"i can't tell if it's looping or he just threw that many kicks"
Superbon recently reclaimed a world title and a potential shot for a unification match for ONE gold
In April 2024, Superbon captured the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world title against longtime rival Marat Grigorian in the main event of the ONE Friday Fights 58 card, which went down inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
This latest triumph not only regained him a 26-pound golden belt, but also a potential outright unification clash with reigning ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Chingiz Allazov.
