"The only thing he can wrestle with is his sexuality" - Henry Cejudo upset with Aljamain Sterling for passing him over for Sean O'Malley, claims he has been sent a contract
Henry Cejudo recently went off on UFC bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling after 'Funk Master' chose Sean O'Malley over 'Triple C' as a potential opponent. While Sterling hasn't finalized an opponent, he recently told the media of his preference for a "money fight" against 'Sugar.'
Cejudo accused Sterling of ducking him, claiming to have a contract in hand for a February clash in Perth, Australia. The former UFC double champ wrote:
"I’ve been sent a contact from the UFC to fight ALJOLAME Stalling in Perth Australia. This dude is doing literally everything to avoid me. Man up pu**y 🖊 📄"
Sterling claimed that a fight against O'Malley would sell out better as they could both potentially find a finish. Cejudo, however, claims that the only reason Sterling wants to fight O'Malley is that 'Sugar' can't wrestle. 'Triple C' wrote in a follow-up tweet:
"Look Whoopi Goldberg…. you want Suga Sean O’Methly because the only thing he can wrestle with is his sexuality. Sign the Contract b**ch."

While Cejudo was initially plotting a title shot against Sterling, he shifted his focus to O'Malley after 'Funk Master' said he'd be out until mid-2023. However, 'Sugar' has also passed Cejudo over in favor of Marlon Vera.
Sean O'Malley believes Henry Cejudo's decision to retire backfired
Henry Cejudo has consistently hinted at a comeback since his surprise retirement from the sport in 2020. Cejudo's retirement came despite 'Triple C' issuing previous threats about the same if not paid better.
Sean O'Malley is somewhat baffled by Cejudo's draw power or the lack of it, considering his achievements inside the octagon. According to O'Malley, 'Triple C' "shot himself in the foot" by retiring prematurely.
'Sugar' believes Cejudo had initially hoped for the UFC to lure him back after retiring, which did not happen. The 27-year-old said on the TimboSugarShow:
"Me vs. ‘Chito’ is a lot bigger than me vs. Henry. It’s weird, being all the accolades he has: He’s not a draw, and that’s the reason he left. He wasn’t getting paid what he "deserved," so he thought maybe he would leave and the UFC would want him back and they didn’t, so now he kind of shot himself in the foot."
