Henry Cejudo explains why 'Chaos's' tenacity makes him a bad matchup for Khamzat Chimaev

With rumors heating up regarding a potential Khamzat Chimaev vs. Colby Covington clash, Henry Cejudo has given his take on why he believes the American to be a bad matchup for the undefeated prospect.

'Triple C' has been delving deep into the analysis of numerous fights on his YouTube channel. While discussing the possible 'Borz' facing Covington, Henry Cejudo insisted that 'Chaos' has just the tools to make it a long night for the Swede.

"What makes Colby Covington good is the fact that he has a gas tank. That's what he is, his spirit of American-style wrestling with the gas tank that he has, and I think that's what really makes Colby Covington dangerous. His threshold is his biggest gift, this is where he beats people... When you fight and you wrestle, that's when things actually get hard and people are not accustomed to that... I mean the threshold to Colby Covington, I have to give this dirt bag a 10!"

Khamzat Chimaev has been vocal in his call outs to Covington, demanding the former interim-welterweight champion meet him inside the octagon to determine the rightful next challenger for the 170lb strap.

Kamaru Usman looks set to be given the chance to reclaim his throne against Leon Edwards in a rubber match, but the winner of the bout will likely have a top contender waiting in the wings for a shot at their title.

Check out what Henry Cejudo said about the potential welterweight fight in the video below.

Is Khamzat Chimaev vs. Colby Covington in the works?

Aside from Khamzat Chimaev calling out his division rival on multiple platforms, is any potential clash between the pair of elite-level welterweights actually in the works?

According to Dana White, he is planning on booking Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman 3 in England. The UFC president wants to make the #2 and #3 ranked 170lbers face off on the very same night. During a recent interview with BT Sport, Dana insisted that he wanted to bring a super-card across the pond to the United Kingdom, and Khamzat Chimaev vs. Colby Covington was one of the few fights he expressed an interest in bringing to Britain.
