"There are so many power punchers" - Jackie Buntan builds the perfect fighter from ONE Championship's stacked roster

The phenomenal Jackie Buntan is grateful to be part of ONE Championship's world-class roster of the best martial artists in the world.

While the Filipina-American striker has already carved a name in the women's ranks, she admits to still being awe-struck by some of the biggest names in the promotion.

In a Sportskeeda MMA exclusive, Buntan was asked about creating the prototype of the perfect striker, using the best accolades of ONE's elite world champions.

The Boxing Works athlete certainly had some interesting picks.

"That’s a loaded question, probably have to say Superlek, elbows of course. I’d say Superbon’s kicks. I like Haggerty’s elusive movement, [and] his trickiness," she said.

However, when it comes to finishing power, Jackie Buntan had trouble picking one considering ONE is home to the most ferocious finishers in combat sports. She added:

"Punches, there are so many power punchers in ONE Championship especially in the small four-ounce gloves."

Meanwhile, Jackie Buntan's own set of skills is quite remarkable as well, particularly the speed, accuracy, and power of her punch combinations.

The 27-year-old star will once again showcase her talents on Nov. 8 against Anissa Meksen for the inaugural women's strawweight kickboxing world title.

ONE 169: Malykhin vs Reug Reug will air live in US Primetime from Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. This event is free of charge for Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.

In the same interview, Jackie Buntan expressed excitement for sharing the card with fellow incredible warriors across multiple sports disciplines.

"Love to see the Rodtang fight, of course. Kade, he’s making his second MMA fight. I would love to see that as well. Eddie Abasolo, my fellow American, gonna put one for the US, so he’s gonna be an exciting fight to watch as well," she told ONE.

The Filipina-American striker's highly-awaited five-rounder versus Meksen is the first of three world title bouts at ONE 169.

Rodtang will put his flyweight Muay Thai crown on the line against Jacob Smith in the co-main event, while Anatoly Malykhin and 'Reug Reug' Oumar Kane close the show for the heavyweight MMA world championship.
