"There are many tough men" - John Lineker says his knockout power is far from the best amongst Muay Thai royalty in ONE

In case his second-round knockout in his Muay Thai debut wasn't enough, former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion John Lineker reminded the world that his highlight-reel win was no fluke by bettering that at ONE Fight Night 25.

The knockout machine continued his ascent in 'The Art of Eight Limbs' this past Friday, Oct. 4.

After showcasing that he can take like a duck to water in the discipline, finishing Asa Ten Pow in the second stanza of their ONE 168: Denver clash, 'Hands of Stone' demolished Russian striker Alexey Balyko in a much shorter time inside the revered Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.

Though many believe that his dynamite hands can match that of some of the promotion's top strikers, based on his second successive Muay Thai win via knockout, the 34-year-old concedes he still has plenty of catching up to do before seeing his name in the same limelight.

When asked whether there is anyone out there who can handle his power, John Lineker had this to say in a post-fight interview with members of the media:

"There are many tough men there. One of them is Superlek [Kiatmoo9]. And I don't want to mention any other names, but there are many, many tough men there to fight."

John Lineker's knockout power is here to stay

While the Brazilian slugger remains humble about the power at his fingertips, it's hard to look past his trademark tool as one of the finest there is now.

John Lineker's concussive hands have helped him to 20 knockouts (18 in MMA and two in Muay Thai), and he doesn't seem to be showing any signs of slowing down one bit.

Whether it comes with his left or right, 'Hands of Stone' is always ready to jump in to add to his gallery of impressive wins.
